I am about to attempt to replace the fuel pump in my soarer. Someone else on here gave step by step instructions which I can across doing a google search I will type as they did so sorry for coping your thread.
You need to remove the seats.
Step one. Lower section pops out. Back section 3 x 12 mm bolts. Remove bolts, push seat in an upward direction to unseat taps, pull forward and out.
Step Two Look for the fuel pump cover that covers the cover he wasn't sure how to explain it but said that you will see what it is.
Step Three Remove fuel pump.
Then do what you need to do with it.
