AF sensors replaced with Denso p1135, p1155 came back

Well replaced the ECU with a reconditioned unit because that was the next step on the Lexus Flow chart and the codes came right back. I also replaced both Air Fuel sensors, just to eliminate them as potential cause. Still stuck with P1135 and P1155

At least according to Amazon that part fits the car, I don't know it could be the right part but installed in the wrong location or something like that. Amazon lists 234-9007 as "Upstream Rear" and 234-9009" as "Upstream Front" so assuming the other one is indeed a 234-9009 they should be correct. Even if he managed to switch the locations of these two sensors from what I understand is that they are the same sensor with different wire lengths, so it shouldn't set a code. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Can you confirm if your emissions sticker under the hood reads 'CA' on it? It could be the difference between using the right sensor. Both types fit the factory connector, but only one is right for the car.

Help!! Need some feedback pls
Hello all!! I'm in need of some helps and advice. I have 99 Lexus ES 300 with lots of work to it. Ecm, trans, o2 sensors were replaced ... I had a few codes in it and now I'm at p01135 and p01155..I took the car to the dealer and they gave me this print out... any ideas ? I know for a fact both sensors (A/F) were replaced with denso oem equipment... in just at a point that I don't know what to do.... at first, I had p0171, p01135 and p01155....has anyone had the same issues ?

UltraMiller. I haven't had this issue, but here is what the service manual says (attached image). You may have already seen it. If you did.. then this probably doesn't help. I know you've already done 2 of those things, and maybe even the 3rd?
Lu8401.. whatever is going on with 1135/1155, it seems similar to UltraMiller.
This probably has nothing to do with the 1135/1155, but your Long Fuel Trims are slightly high at idle (hence something related to the P0171 occurring, but maybe not during that freeze frame). (Did they already claim to fix the p0171?)
If you have a scan tool, you should hook it up and monitor Live Data and see what the long term fuels hover around at idle.. then drive around and glance at it and see what it hovers around during pedal acceleration. Some characteristics of the LTFT changes can hint towards a few things that might help bring it down nearer to 0.

How did they get your P0171 fixed, and how long has it not come on?

P0171 is for the MAF. Clean and reinstall to see if that code comes back.

So after replacing both A/F sensors, I'm back to square one... P1135 and P1155.. on a good note, PO171 is gone... any ideas ? I also read some live readings and got this... I'm not sure how to interpret it..

It's not the sensors, they show voltage. The CEL illuminates when you have less than ~.5 Amps and/or more than 8 amps.
You need to follow the wiring diagram for wires that are common between the AF sensor heaters. Things like EFI fuse, A/F Heater relay, and EFI ground (back of intake manifold) just to name 3. Check those 3 and report back. The AF heater relay is the same as the horn. Swap those out, and see if your horn works.
For me, it was the EFI ground just dangling around the back of the engine not connected to anything on my 2001 ES 300. When I connected the ground to it's proper location, the CEL went away, same with several other people I have read about in the forum. It probably never got connected on my car after the engine was replaced.

Update..
I checked all fuses and swapped the horn with efi relay.. in addition, while checking the fuse l realized that the slot for A/F fuse was empty so I put a 25 amp fuse in it. When I checked the intake manifold for ground cables (against the back firewall), I didn't see any wires... but I did see the 2 grounds at the side firewall...and no wires hanging loose. After I erased the check engine light and drove the vehicle for 40 miles, the light came back on but with a different code this time... P0420 (but remember this is after I put in the missing fuse, which was empty). On another note, I noticed that the car has some starting issues when its left overnight or parked for a while. The car starts but quickly shuts off, so the only way to kept it running is by giving it gas. After it warms up, it starts right up without any issues (not sure if this can be related to the MIL code). I was able to borrow a better scanner tool and decided to look at the fuel trim data and this is what I came out with... the first picture is live data and the second picture is freeze data (0% on fuel trim bank 2). Any ideas on how to interpret these results?

The AF heater circuits have nothing to do with fuel trims. The concern is now that you have a rear (post cat) O2 sensor that is throwing the P0420 code. I would erase that code and see if it comes back. My bet is that now you have a fuse in the AF heater circuits that the CEL will stay off for that. I don't know how to interpret those results, all the same, it doesn't have anything to do with your issue right now.

P1135,p1155 codes I have same problem
I did same thing also and keep getting p1135,p1155 codes, did you ever figure what to do?

Both of the codes are for Heater Circuits, sounds like you just blew either a relay or a fuse for Heated A/F sensors. Check the 25A A/F HTR Fuse and a 25A A/F HTR Relay, here is a fuse diagram. The relay should be located in the fuse box located on the battery hanger.
