Hello lovely members of the ES300/ES330 Forum. I am posting this here, because I feel that it's the most appropriate in this subsection and I am looking for a very specific target audience. I've never done anything like this before, so I wanted to gauge some interest in this forum.

When was the last time there was a Lexus ES gathering of any sort? I feel like we need to enjoy ourselves by getting together someday and share our knowledge/passions with others - the Lexus ES.

If anyone is interested, please share your thoughts in this thread, I would love to organize an event in the near future.

But, we can all meet up at the NELOC meets (there is a specific regional forum for this sort of thing). There have been ES before at those meets.

Never heard of NELOC, what are those like? Any links you can provide? I want to retain a certain vibe that is present in this particular community, something like a Cruise-In.

I need to message a few people that have contacted me in the past, maybe we can get them to show up as well.

Thanks for the link. NELOC looks cool. I think I'll drop by their event in April. Most of their members though appear to really be in to mods and wheels and the like. While I've been to some good car shows in my days, and Scion meets etc., I think a lot of us ES forum members may have more of an affinity for the stock form and discussions such as troubleshooting, general maintenance, and keeping some of these older beauties on the road. I would welcome a relaxed, exclusively ES gathering.

Yes, there are definitely modded cars present at the meets. But, there are also stock cars such as my RX.

You're all probably aware of how much I hate mods based on my posts here, but at the end of the day we are all car enthusiasts, so it's still fun hanging out with the NELOC family.

Either way, I'm down for a secluded ES oriented meet as well.

I'll keep that in mind. I've never gone to any kind of club meetings, only two or three car shows. I'm a fan of older, more mature crowds, so I'll see what's best and what others want to do.

It appears that the best time would be either Saturday or Sunday, as most people have fixed Mon-Fri work weeks.
