2000 ES300 Slow Acceleration from Stop
I have a 2000 ES300 with 230k miles.
Just recently the car started to have a strange problem where the acceleration is painfully slow when I'm stopped. The engine will rev into high RPMs but it almost feels like I'm starting in 2nd or 3rd gear vs 1st. Once I get to a decent speed I have no problems it's just from the stop.
I've read different things about the ECT getting stuck in a "snow" mode or the EGR valve/modulator getting blocked up with carbon, but these were all for different models.
Any help is appreciated!

If you have lots of miles on the car, I'm afraid you may be loosing the bands in your transmission.
What model year do you have?
Edit, that will teach me to read things first...lol
Yes I think the transmission may be spent.
