How to wire the antenna to aftermarket deck
In my 95 ES, the antenna wire is connected to the hole in my aftermarket deck, but the other little plug that is attached with that wire goes to nowhere. Does that plug have to be connected to something? How can I make my car's antenna rise up when the radio is turned on. The blue antenna lead is connected to the green/red pin 8.

lol, reminds me of the time i had that problem with my antenna, the answer is simple, go wire the antenna wires togethor, along with another wire, i forget which one, but i remember one of the wires coming out of the deck has 2 puposes, so just wire the antenna and whatever else you have to wire to it and it should work fine... sorry couldnt me more specific but im trying to get this off the top of my head. If you have any futher questions dont be afraid to post.

I was having problems with this too, I don't think you need the other little wire on the antenna plug connected, mine isn't. There might be some benefit to having it connected, but it will work without.
Now here's where I'm still having problems. You need to connect a remote-turn on to the factory amp for the antenna to work, for some reason it's wired through the amp. I did this and mine still only goes about halfway up, I believe the factory radio sends two different signals to the antenna, I've read something about the LS with this and I believe ours is the same setup. I've just settled for my antenna half-way up since I don't listen to the radio that often. I think there is a way to solve this problem, maybe try searching for any info, I haven't bothered at this point.
