Stop AC from turning on with "auto" help :(
Hello,
The car in question is a 2003 es300.
Using TIS Techstream in my 2007 camry hybrid, 2008 camry hybrid, and 2008 is250, I was able to make it so when I pressed the climate control's "auto" button, the AC wouldn't just come on, but would only come on if it was on before the system was last turned off. It was a setting that simply needed to be switched to "manual" in personalized settings. I just got done tinkering with Techstream and changing some settings like door lock and what not, but couldn't find this and I really want it. I figure some of you gurus might know how to do it with a sequence of button pressing?
Also, I changed the setting for parsing unlock once on the key fob unlocks all for doors, even went in a second time and vervied that it saves, yet 1 click of unlock still only gets the driver door. Any ideas? My Techstream verion is way newer than the car... Probly 2012 or 13

I don't know about changing the a/c - but I sure wish I could do that to ours and want to know how.
I DO want to know how to change door lock settings. After unlocking all of them, mine will re-lock all but the driver's if you don't insert the key in the ignition. Drives me batty. Do you know how to fix that - sounds like you did.

I assume you've got a bootleg version? Sometimes the functions for whatever reason don't connect, I had one myself and couldn't get the lighting customizations to work. Now I just use the one at work which is the newest version.

Wait so your 03 es300 gave you the option to disable the AC from coming on automatic exactly like I descibed my 2007,2008 camry hybrid and 08 is250!?!? Maybe it's cause I had the key in acc instead of having the car running?
And no, my copy is not one from a dealership.
Also my wife,s 06 sle v6 solara won't even show customizable settings. Odd.
