Default What do you think of this??

I saw this on ebay and I don't know if this really going to work like he said??
Ebay said:
(This Supercharger can be easily installed on ANY vehicle 1980 to present. Finally, something we can all afford to place under the hood. This device is used either with a cold air intake(recommended) or with your stock setup. The blower uses a safe 12 volt source to power up and with up to 240 cfm(cubic feet of air a minute)extra moving through your intake. Why spend up to $3000.00 on a turbo or supercharger which can overheat your engine or worse yet blow it up, when you can add this simple device in less then an hour and still keep the warrantee on your vehicle.
Imagine what you could do with an extra 20-45 extra Horse Power!!! )

Do not ever look at that ad again. These things are junk -- they make your car go slower and have problems. SCAM - nuff said...

Not as bad as those unpowered "Tornado" things that are supposed to "create a power vortex effect for increased horsepower and fuel economy"

With all these cheap forced induction products, I always ask myself, "If it's truly possibly to boost HP/ MPG with a small piece of plastic/small electric fan, why didn't it come stock?" Manufacturers are always competing on HP, and in some segments, fuel economy, and if these things could truly improve a car's numbers they'd be standard equipment.

If you need to spend the money, spend it on something more useful, credible and reliable.
