Trying to update my steering audio controls(currently don't have), backup camera and a fer others toys. But I keep running in to an issue were there was a mid year design change on the ES330. My car was built in Jan 04, the change took place June 04 I think factory location changed.

Does anyone have the wisdom and or knowledge to know what changed ? My interest is with;
OEM NAVI,
ML, ML has been upgraded to the 2005 model (0W101 ?)
6 CD)

all I want is to add Audio controls to my steering wheel

All I want to do (also) is ad a backup camers trying to post pics.

Am I in the correct forum ?

I'd love to add a back up cam to mine but I suspect it's unpossible.

It's definitely possible to add a backup cam. The easiest way is with a wireless system, there are plenty on eBay if you just want an inexpensive way to do it.

As I said in your last thread, I don't think the steering wheel controls are a good use of your money. Even if you find a newer wheel (not cheap), the later ES 330s may (probably) have another wire or set of wires that your car doesn't have for these controls.

If I was going to sink about 500 bucks into my car's interior right now, I think I would start with the speakers.

Forum members have some good suggestions to modify an early build 04 ES330, you don't, but do have a lot of spare time to count other members activity and their technical ability, you apparently don't.
