Help with aftermarket bulbs
My GF has a 98 ES300 and she wanted to change the bulbs to aftermarket bulbs, because one of them burned out. So we got some Cuzo Hyper Whites and installed them. After they were installed, the "Check Headlight" indicator on the dash comes on. What did we do wrong?

First thing that comes to mind.
did you get the same wattage bulb that came out? Make sure the connector is secure. If the resistance is not what is called for, the the ECU thinks the bulb is still burned out.
Must be the same H# or 900#, and should be the same wattage.
I would post this in the lighting forum for more technical expertise.

Thanks for the input.
I thought I was totally lost on this one. The bulb was actually 55W, but for some reason ... after several hours of operation, the indicator went off. Gonna get some Polarg bulbs instead. The Cuzo's seemed dim.

if you are looking for an hid look there are 2 types from sylvania that are much better than any of the others that are just blue coated light bulbs and really are dim
1 is cool blue nice if you just want a touch whiter and brighter
2 is silver stars they are the better ones, costs twice as much and are worth every cent i reallly like them on my civic especially compared to other crappy blue bulbs which you can never see the road with or anything else at night but to some they look cooool
i have hid's on my es and of course no comparison
www.deucecom.net buy and sell anything in T.O.

I definitely recommend Silverstars...or Sylvania anything over any cheap "HID like" or "Xenon" labeled bulb.
