In my 1999 lexus es300. Make sure all doors, hood and trunk are closed. Roll a window down, lock all doors with key. Wait 30 seconds, reach arm in window and unlock car and the alarm should activate. The red light I below your stereo should be blinking to let you know your alarm is active
