Max wheel offset on 1999 ES300
First off I have done a search for this and could not find a discussion on exactly what I was looking for unless I did not dig deep enough.
With that said I am wondering if anyone can advise on how much negative offset one can go on the rears of a 1999 ES300 without having to mess with cutting/rolling the fenders?
I have 17 x 7.5 with current offset of 45mm. Tires are 215-50-17.
I am ok with the fronts however the rears seem to be still tucked inward and want to bring them out more to the fender lip. Thinking a 25mm spacer....too much?

First off, the car is not lowered, not yet anyway. So stock suspension.
Going from stock 6 inch width rims to 7.5 on same offset adds .75 inch on both sides. That with slightly wider tires did bring the tires out more to the edge. From looking at the car from the rear you can see the wheels are different than stock but it is not a drastic change. The front wheels sit fine for me but the rears appear to still sit in. I think I read somewhere where the tracking width on the rear of these cars is 1 inch shorter than the front and you can visually see this. If I used 15mm spacers that would put me just a tad over 1/2 inch more offset on each side and would make up that 1 inch shortage in the rear. Problem is that these wheels do not have the pockets on the back to use the smaller spacers with built in lug bolts as the studs on the car will protrude out too far. You have to go with a minimum of 25mm spacers which would add 1 inch to each side. I am concerned that this is too much for clearance issues. I could use the spacers that do not have the built in studs which would allow a smaller size but I would have to then change out the studs for longer ones. Sounds like a pain to do but if it has to be then I want to do this thing right.

Will 19's fit my 1999 es300
I'm trying to put 19's on my es300. It has stock suspension and the wheels are 19 by 8.5 with a 45mm offset and the tires are 225/35/19. As far as I can tell the front will fit fine but I'm not sure about the rear. Any ideas? Will that offset typically work with 19's?
