ES300 hesitation off idle and at 40mph
My ES300 has recently started to hesitate from a standing stop and it does the same thing at about 40mph. It feels someone like a misfire but I am not getting a misfire code. It only does it under light throttle acceleration or holding a steady 40mph. It also only does this once the engine is fully warmed up after about 20 minutes of driving. Looking for any suggestions as to what it might be.
2000 ES300 with 196k miles.
Have recently done the following: (in response to trying to fix the problem)
MAF cleaned
IACV removed and cleaned
Intake cleaned
Plugs replaced
Seafoam through tank and intake
Water temp sensor replaced
Throttle position sensor replaced
Battery unhooked to clear ECU / Codes checked - No codes
Air filter / Oil changes within specs. Using Mobil 1 Synthetic Extended Perfomance

You might have a Variable Valve Timing solenoid starting to go south. They can be booger to diag when they are not throwing codes. You can try removing the solenoids and cleaning them with solvent. There is also a plug located in the cylinder head right under these solenoids, one on each cylinder head. Remove the plug and carefully remove the screen filter and see if they are clogged with oil carbon. The screens can also be cleaned out with a spray solvent.

I pulled one of the solenoids out and it looks like brand new. No sludge and no buildup. Other than being covered with a film of oil it looked like brand new. I also pulled out the small filter underneath it and it was perfectly clean also.
I am going to change the fuel filter next but I can't see it being the issue since I am able to use full throttle and this problem only occurs once the engine is fully warmed up.
Any other suggestions?

No EGR on this car.
You could try removing the engine cover and drive it like that to see if it makes a difference. This will provide additional cooling, and perhaps cause any heat sensitive component to not misbehave.
You can also buy a can of freeze aerosol spray, and with the cover still off, spray each ignition coil, and other sensors one at a time, to see if it makes a difference. You may get lucky.
Radio Shack, and others sell it.

Yeah I have had the cover off since I have been working on the issue. Could it be coil packs? I should also mention this problem started after running a can of Seafoam through the gas tank. The Seafoam caused a spark plug to fail and I started getting misfire. I replaced all the plugs and the misfire went away and I was left with this problem.

Update on this. I was driving it last night and came to a stop. The engine all the sudden sounded pretty terrible and the check engine light came on. I got codes P1354, P0300, P0302, P0304, P0306. I think that almost certainly points to a bad Oil Control Valve. I have two ordered and plan to change them soon. I think that will be the fix I am looking for. Side note they are only $65 each from Lexus of South Atlanta online. I highly recommend that site for ordering Lexus parts. My local Lexus dealer wanted $130 each. I laughed at them.

I think the gear was about $230 and took me an hour and half to install.
