Rear view mirror
My rear view mirror assembly fell off. The part that sticks to the window is still on the window. It looks like the original adhesive was some kind of goop. I had to scrape that off before putting superglue on. That only worked for a few weeks.
What do you suggest?
By the way, there is a small (1-inch wide) metal part that is captivated in the assembly and that is the place that the goop had been applied. It looks like it may be able to accommodate some sort of spring loaded mounting implement, but there were no springs in the assembly when it fell off.

Google rear view mirror adhesive. For missing parts you an go to a Lexus dealer they do sell the individual pieces.

Don't go to the (s)dealer. Any auto parts store will carry the specialty adhesive.
Mark the outside of the current rear view mirror with a crayon or marker so you'll know where to mount it.
