Trac off light???
Hi CL members,
I have a 1999 Lexus ES300. For some reason, if traction control is being used (i.e, wheels slip going up hill or anything that involves wheel slip) the “trac off” light turns on. After the first “wheel slip” and it gains traction, and then I continue driving and then I am in another situation where the wheels slip, traction control no longer works. Even if I push the button. The only time it ever does this is when it rains. Also, the “trac off” light is the only light on, no other light like CEL is on. Anyone ever experience this before? Any suggestions? Anything helps.

You need to hook up a code reader and watch live data of the wheel speed sensors, and also check for any pending codes.
