Default Airbox/Intake Help! 2003 ES300

I was replacing my air intake and cleannig out my intake just fine, when I went to put the airbox top on, the two left don't look like they go on at all. There is a gap in the side, but the right is on just fine. What did I do wrong and how do I fix this?

Is the air filter seated properly?

Unbolt it, push the left side down and under the clip and then push the right side down.

Push the left side of the clip or the left side of the whole airbox?

Push the entire cover down to the left side and then place it how the clip goes under the bottom portion of the air box.

Watch this video a fellow CL member, speedkar, made on how to replace the filter you will see what I mean:

These things can get so fidgety, I wish they stuck to the old tool-less 1MZ-FE design from the 3ES.
