When idling my cars rpms are very low and when I press the gas pedal to drive away from the idle my car kind of jumps to around 1000-1500rpms and jolts me forward. Also when I have the AC on the cars battery symbol comes on. I replaced the battery and alternator last year so I hope it has nothing to do with them.

Don't know till you check. If the battery symbol pops up, the battery is not charging. Also check for loose connections between alternator and bat.
