heated seat switch backlight out
The "white" backlight for my heated seat on the front panel is out. The red and green hi and low lights work. Anyone know how to fix this? This is my first post. Thanks.

You have to remove the switch and replace the small backlight blub it is in the switch on the side. The bulb is has a plastic flat backing with a slot in it, you twist the bulb and it falls out. The part number is 8499910190.
The console trim is easy to lift up just snaps, stick a thin tool (preferably plastic to not scratch the wood finish) under the edge to pry up do the rear first, work your way forward by tilting up there are tabs on the forward edge underneath the ashtray. The seat switches are released from the backside you squeeze the tabs.

Thanks. I should have mentioned I have an ES300 so I have to get in the dash. I tried the advice I found in another area here and pounded on the dash by the light. The light came right on!! We'll see if it stays on.
