Coin drawer won't stay shut

Coin drawer won't stay shut
I have a 1998 ES 300. There is a coin drawer to the left of the steering wheel. It won't stay shut, it won't latch at all. Is there suppose to be a spring or a metal piece that holds it in the closed possition? Can someone post a pic of this for me?

Have you removed it recently? The bottom of the coin drawer has the plastic molded like clips that grip on to the lower trim and theres two small plastic tabs in the middle on each side of the coin drawer. Now i'm not sure about the 98 ES but my 03 ES is held closed with a moveable latch up top. I'll post a picture, however hopefully someone else will chime in with the same year or at least generation ES.

The clips at the bottom work and it has the ***** midway up on the sides to keep it from opening too far. It is also empty, no coin. It will not stay up, it doesn't even seem to try to latch.
From what I can see it seems like there was a latch at the top front of the drawer but this is either broken or bent. Trying to see if anyone with a functioning drawer will post a pic of the latch.
