ES330 Are there any center console mods for charger cable routing?

I like to use the 12v charger in the console for my cell phone, but I hate that the console doesnt have a passage way of some kind to run the cable without pinching.
Are there any mods or suggestions?

Mine is a 2001 ES300, so I don't know if yours is similar, but mine has an almost invisible little flap panel about 2" x 2" at the front of the console (inside) that I was able to pry out and run my cables through.
Look closely inside your console, hopefully your model has a similar flap.
