Bought my first Lexus today. A 2005 ES330 loaded including nav. At 188k it's high mileage but you'd have to look at the odometer to tell. It's beautiful and runs like a dream.

Default 2000 es300 in need of some tlc

Hi guys,
I've had my es300 for 7 years or so, and am sad to say I've been neglecting her for too long! I'm new to the forums, and am really impressed with what some of you have done to your es models. If I hadn't stumbled on these forums, I really would still be planning on trading mine in. My car only has 117,000 miles and the engine is very clean, but the rest of her has become an eyesore. So I've decided to turn my car into something I'm proud to drive and try to keep for another 100,000 miles or more. When I figure out how to, I will post my embarrassing before pictures, and I'll be sure and post my progress along the way.

So I just bought my very first car three days ago, a 1993 ES300 from a small autoshop nearby. It's had two previous owners and not looking too well, but I'm already in love with it. I found it on Craigslist and it was the only car being sold with no major problems that would prevent from driving. It has a little over 160,000 miles on it. Only major problems as of now is that the digital odometer stopped working, the check engine light is on, and both rear passenger windows stopped working. I'm really looking to fix up the car and bring it back to life. I have no prior experience with cars so I will be doing A LOT of research but I feel it will be worthwhile, especially after seeing some of the posts on these forums. I'll take some pictures eventually but I don't have any at the moment.

Hey all!

I bought a beautiful black ES330 this morning. 2004 with 111k. Ivory leather and red trim (exact same car as 02DSGS (member)) and I really like it. I just came out of a Pontiac I had to build to stay mobile. Thursday that car broke a pushrod, so I just couldn't handle it any more. Picked up this beauty and won't look back.

I'm hoping to learn great ways to keep her running strong and smooth for another 100k!

Just purchased a 1 owner 67,000 mile 2001 ES300, what a nice car. Car came with all service records since new. 3 month 3,000 mile oil changes, brake system flush, timing belt / water pump belt, cooling system serviced 3 times. This car should go the distance. Best winter beater I've ever had.

Hello Lexus Boys and Girls... Long time BMW owner, and just bought my first Lexus. Love the car so far but my biggest complaint is the sloppy suspension, but I plan on changing that

Default Lexus es 300

I have a 1999 Lexus es 300.I have replace both knock sensor & wire harness two months ago cause it shows cl p0330.Then today the check engine light came on & diagnose it.The code shows p0330 & sometimes my rpm is high it won't drop.I just rebuilt my tranny 2years ago. Before I replace both of knock sensor & wire harness.I took my car back to the shop to have the tranny check & they said is fine.I really need some help .Why does code p0330 keep reading on my ob2 scanner.I greatly appreciate...

Default My new 2000 ES 300

Hi Club Lexus Forum Members,

I found this amazing car and purchased this past weekend. It is a 2000 ES 300 that the previous owner purchased from the dealership as a Dealer Demo with only 4300 miles on it in 2001. All maintenance was performed at that dealership over the last 13 years and the car has only 37K miles on it. She had a thick stack of records which are also documented on the Lexus website. New Michelin tires, alignment and 30K mile service was performed in May. The 92 year old owner only put 10,000 miles on it over the last 8 years and obviously always kept it in the garage. Everything works with no problems other than a little bit of a harsh ride. My guess is that the struts need replaced.

Thanks for checking it out and hope I can contribute to the forum.

Thanks,
Mark
