Low Idle
After changing my Battery for my ES 330, it seems the car is idling lower then it did before, is there something I need to do to reset the idle?

Changing the battery can leave the car's computer without power for long enough that the parameters it has will reset themselves to a default. I know that some owner's manuals will recommend pulling certain relays to reset certain things. this is usually found in the section of the owner's manual where you will find tire changing procedures and such.
IMO just drive it for a while, the car should re-learn its idle in a couple of days.
Anyone feel free to correct me if I'm totally off base.

Was driving the car today and I notice that when I was at a light stop the IDE was moving from 825 to 875 and back is this normal? What is the normal IDE when stop on a red light?

not sure on your model, but others have posted similar issues and it ended up that throttle body needed cleaning. Throttle body clean seemed to be a pretty common fix.

I just changed the battery in my 2002 ES300 and it stalled out about 6 times in about 10 minutes. I'll drive it for a few days and let it run and see if that sets anything, then I'll post again.

note from dealer
So I had my 08 ES350 in for its 70k service today and asked about the low idle and stalling of my 02 ES300. The dealer said it's a known issue and the approach they recommend is similar to what was posted here: disconnect the battery, reconnect it again and if it runs, even at a low idle, let it run for 20+ mins for it to reset. If the engine does not idle at 500 or greater after you start the engine, press the accelerator so it runs about 1k rpm for about 10 mins.
Well, I tried both of those and a few hybrid approaches; running it at 1500 rpms for 10 mins, driving it around for 30+ mins, etc., to no avail. I think I'll try the cleaning the throttle intake next and see what happens.
