Default ES330 voltage regulator replacement

I'm new to Lexus, use to Mercedes, so here's the question.
I have a ES330 with an alternator that is only putting out 10V at the battery...of course the battery died.....and I assume it's the voltage regulator.
Can the voltage regulator be replaced by itself or do I need to replace the whole alternator?
I ask because on my old MB the regulator could be replaced by itself.
Thanks

I am not sure, it might depend on the year, Rockauto shows a regulator module for a 2004 but not a 2005. The Lexus parts listing doesn't show it at all for any ES330.
