How Hard to Replace Charcoal Canister?
I got a P0450 and a P0441 code on my 1997 Lexus ES 300. I called the dealership and they said I need to replace my Charcoal Canister. They wanted $400+ and told me it would be 3-4 hours of labor at $129 an hour of labor. I'm in college and obviously trying to do this cheaper.
If I can find the part online, is it easy to install myself? Please lete me know.
Please respond or e-mail me at dillon.goad@gmail.com if you have any suggestions.

It's under the car above the rear cross member almost in the center by the gas tank that part is a couple hundred dollars last time I checked on rock auto. Should be about half size of a loaf of bread maybe a little bigger. You could be lucky and it's just the 50 dollar VSV on the Canister it self. Good luck man.

Maybe I told you wrong sorry man . That's what I read on another forum but that's where it would be it has two canister looking things and it's near the brake booster. Well mine looks like it has two but it's usually near the fuel filter.
