How did you get the leather covers? Your 911 seat looks like factory leather, which is rare to come by.

Thanks, 911 concours guys did not believe I did it myself. A steamer really helped.

eBay: seatsshop ( extra s) http://stores.ebay.com/seatsshop

Leather Kit $449 shipped. (vinyil sides)

Doing the LX450 fronts for $175, they have offices in Texas and Canada, made in CHINA.

They sent me a swatch to make certain I chose the proper color, outstanding service not just interested in selling me junk. I have a swatch for $12.00 if anyone is interested.. Trick, use Scrubbing Bubbles and brush to clean the OEM leather to make certain of your color.. Seal the cleaned leather with some conditioner, it will dry out using the Scrubbing Bubbles Bathroom cleaner.

Jim

Take some before and after shots in high quality. I think there a few people on here who might be interested in restoring their seats, so thanks a lot for sharing.

I certainly will.

I learned allot doing my Porsche seats, thank goodness Lexus are more modern seats and have the plastic tabs to snap in the sides. Damn Germans (Recaro) used sharp metal tabs and wire but work of Art, great German design, I have so many cuts on my hands.

That is a very attractive option at 450$ and especially 175 for the fronts only, which happens to be what I need.

Then you really need to get their swatch to insure the color match, cleaning the OEM leather first is a must, if not black

Thumbs up

Very nice! Can't wait to see the pics of the installed seat covers.

How's your cutoff line on the HIDs?

Perfect ___------

Will do, hurt my wrist on a NYD fun run. sucker in front of me braked around a hair pin and caused me to lift of the gas and made me spin out and ditch my 911 :-(

Always leave your thumbs out of the steering wheel

Update, 55w hid kit needs a clean 12 volt source or they will flicker. 35w is not an issue I had 35w for my 911 fog lamps. No biggy ordered headlight relay $15. I put relay on my 911 too.

I am very interested in how you ordered the Leather kit for your moms 94' Lexus ES 300... My mom has a 96' and her front seats are torn and on their last legs... Can you do a write up on how you did the install?? Also I can not find the auction for the seat covers you bought... I think I will go the same route as you... Thanks!

Lol actually it is my wife's 96 ES300 pictured above.

Just email the seller and tell them Jim sent you and that you would like the same kit for your mom's 96.

I certainly will do a tutorial, starting with back seats tonight.

Just needs steaming then the wrinkles will be out in short order.

Passenger side front next with heat pads :-)
