No you've got it. The bolt pattern would make it impossible to fit, a 5x100 wheel is not going on a 5x114.3 stud pattern hub, so he must have LS400 wheels then.

The hub bore is a little less critical, a larger hub bore wheel will fit on a smaller hub, though one should use a hub adapter ring if the wheels are hub centric. Then again that site with the wheels specs you linked lists the LS400 wheel as 16x7 but we know it was a 15" so maybe their specs are off.

Canuckle what does the wheel say, it should have some markings molded in like "15x6.5JJ 50" or something like that on it, should help you identify which wheel it is.

I definitely noticed 15x 6.5 JJ.... not sure about "50".
