Is it Possible to Swap a 1999 Fog Light Casing for a 2000 Casing?
I'm trying to do some work on my lights, but the fog light casing on a 1999 es300 is texturized and the light doesn't come out as clean as I would like. Would it possible to install a clear 2000 es300 fog light casing on my 1999 es300? Thanks.

Thanks for the insight on the physical difference of the fog lights. DixonPai could you let me know how installation of the fog lights go and if there are any difficulties? I'd hate to purchase a new bumper if I can jam them in there.

01LEXPL, everything is possible, the question is - is it worth your time and effort? I was just recommending the most straight forward path that provided the best results. I haven't dealt with the 2000-01 fogs, so I wasn't certain about it.
My two cents, if I was doing all that work to retrofit the newer fogs, I would much rather spend an extra $400 and also get the more aggressive front end.

^ To be honest, i'm all for what you're saying.
But on the flipside, the 97-99 bumpers are 'better' for lips. So it comes down to taste.
I love the 00-01 fogs, but the versatility of the 97-99 bumper in terms of aftermarket/JDM styling is far better than some mystical/unicorn like lips that i'd never be able to find for my 01. I've honestly contemplated buying a 97bumper just to mess with this idea. I do like the look of the lip on there.
