What's leather, what's vinyl?
Hello- I'm still trying to figure out the interior of my recently acquired 2002 ES300. I'm uncertain about what is leather and what is vinyl on the (1) front seat sides and backs (2) head rests, (3) door panels and pulls, and (4) center console. Thanks- Richard

There is not a hard and fast rule for this stuff, sometimes you can just look at it and tell, or someone knows specifically the ES300.
That said, generally on any "leather interior" strictly only the seating surfaces will be leather, so back sides bottoms of the seats, headrests, armrest door panels etc are all vinyl. Steering wheel and shift handle are typically leather as well. Leather is expensive and car pricing is very competitive, therefore leather is not put where you will not fully appreciate it.
Close inspection will tell you, especially if your car is not new, leather will look different than grained vinyl.
