Default any ideas at all?

i finally had codes pulled for my 94 es300 htat has been having issues at normal temp. cold is fine until it warms up then sputtering with lack of power. the obd2 scanner only showed knock sensor which i accidentally broke after my issue was already there for about a month(luckily not my only car so ive been on and off tweeking wiht it) ive noticed every time i pull fuel cap there is a suction regaurdless of fuel level. is it possible that needing a new gas cap could have been my problem and now i need a new knock sensor for breaking it when removing timing cover to checking tightness of timing belt? only other thing scanner showed was a misfire on 5 &6 upon rev which could have been caused from knock sensor at high rev i believe. and does this car call for a vented cap or is there a diff venting system for my fuel that is not operating correctly or is this normal on a 1994 es300 with 20000 miles on it. (new fuel pump and filter +plugs and boots rescently cleaned intake mainfold/ throttle body exhaust leaks repaired engine is 1mz-fe)
