Default Time for new Battery

Which brand would you guys recommend? I have heard great things about interstate batteries. I have to deal with winter and I have a subwoofer connected so I will need a strong one. I still have the original Panasonic toyota battery.

I bought my car with a weak Interstate battery, it seems like most ES's have them. I wanted a clean look under the hood, so I went to the dealer and picked up a Lexus battery - still running strong.

You mean how much? I paid around $150 with tax, and I had to give them my old battery (which I had no use for anyway). My local mechanic offered me a new Interstate battery for $110, but like I said, I didn't want a bright green box in my car.

That's where I got mine. Excellent battery, excellent price, excellent warranty, highly rated by Consumer Reports. Can't beat that.

I have a 2002 ES 300 as well. I have a Duralast and it's been running great.

The Lexus factory batteries are overpriced junk in my opinion.

Consumer Reports did a test and rated Costco's Kirkland brand and Walmart's EverStart Maxx right around the top. Those two are where I now go for all my car batteries, and they're usually also the cheapest. I've done really well with them, and they have a great warranty.

Most all car batteries now come from just 2-3 manufacturers, they just have different labels and warranties on them.

I am currently running an Interstate battery in both my cars.

And even though I shouldn't say this, Toyota/Lexus batteries are made by interstate. Which is why I often tell peopel that the OEM batteries are pretty good, because they are.

I see you got a kicker. do yourself a favor and do not get any battery that is not AGM. a GREAT choice would be XS Power all the way, but on a budget, a Deka 9a34 is a economic choice (what i have, and yes, the battery holder will need to be slightly modded. with ease) do not pick a sams club, auto zone, or wal mart battery at all. and Optima Yellowtop? pshh.....trust me, i did alot of research. no offense to the others above me, but they dont know nothing about car audio, power integration.
