95 es 300 dtc p0500 p0720 p0773
Well here is a odd one codes po500 po720 and po773. No speedometer no odometer and no checkengine light or traction control light flashing. Didn't check the cruise function. Noticed the issue during the flushing of the transmission. The trouble charts show the ending results a ecm failure or a possible wire issue. Will be doing voltage and ohms testing in the am. If anyone has info to pass on that would be great. Thanks.

checked wiring all seemed to be good. pointed to the ecu. got rebuilt ecu. did not fix issue. pulled cluster to recheck wiring and 2 bulbs missing. that corrects the cel and o/d light not coming on. sent the cluster out to be checked (benched) well see the results soon. going to recheck the wiring from fuse to vss to #13 and #15 at the cluster connector for power. at # 14 coming out of the cluster the voltage was at .117 volts should be 4-6 volts going to the ecu. now if the volts to the ecu from the speedo cluster are not proper will that make the p0773 for the o/d shift solinoid not get the proper signal to put it into over drive.

Speedometer is fixed having proper voltage to the Ecu. Well after checking for the speedometer operation to such luck. Decided to use a borescope to look inside trans. The speed drive gear is missing how nice. Today I removed the differential and ordered the gear needed. Then I will reinstall the differential. Want to smack the A-hole that was too lazy to replace the gear since they had the different out previously.

the p0500 and p0720 are gone with replacing the speed drive gear onto the differential. 14 hours job according to all data with the transmission coming out of car. took a different path transmission stayed in car i took the differential out took a little over 4 hours. car shifts good but the code p0773 is still there. hooked the Solus to it to clear it but it is a hard code. you can disconnect battery turn the key on and start car and code is there don't even have to move the car leave it in park and code doesn't budge. wire is good and ecm is good added power to the solinoid at the transmissiom connector didn't here noise going to suspect it is the solinoid. has anyone else run into a hard code for this solinoid?
