I understand how 'work' and 'life' gets in the way of things we need/want to do. I am just getting back to my project of putting my 'pretty baby' in shape again. I agree, the car is absolutely magnificent - I'm just concerned that I will not keep up on maintenance and loose a real beauty! I'll be taking your lists and suggestions to a new mechanic this week so I appreciate all the input. My questions, for now anyway, would be, if I suggest some of the parts and things recommended by you guys and they want to use something else, am I crazy to tell them 'I read it online on the Club Lexus site'? I wish I could do the work myself - besides messing up my nails, I don't think I'd have the arm strength to do some of it. Detail I can do! But, I'm still watching your posts. Please don't stop!

Can anyone tell me about O2 Sensors? My check engine light has been on for awhile. I plan on replacing all 3 but, the last quote I had on it was $1,500! Unfortunately, I still like to eat so I'll be looking for another option!

I am a office guy, sit on a desk Monday throught Friday. The only hing I wan to do is stay need the car and find hinge to do. Unfortunally some rear noise keeps bugging me and I need to get rid of to assure he safety of the car. However I do recommend you to do some of the work on the car place double latex gloves and try an oil change or ai filter. It will save you u a couple if bucks and will help I enjoy your car more. I lov to Learn how it works so I can drive it better and take full advantage of the functionality. You should try. But don't take the big project it's risky and you could get hurt trying. Good luck on the projects.
