UPDATE ON MY 1998 LEXUS ES300.
I Tinted My Windows, 5% on the back, 35% on the front.
Added HIDS 8K Top and 3K Bottom. All LED Lights inside and out.
Last but not least, got some new shoes for it! 19x8.0 Decorsa's Polaris 5's. May be a lil to big.
Some like how it looks, some don't!
I will Lower My Car 1.8" Both front and back in the next month with lowering springs.
Any Suggestions guys?
I would like to hear your guy's opinions!
What should i do next?

I gave my cars a nice interior vaccuum and wipe down this past weekend on a rare Feburary warm spell.
Any problems with the tensioning bolt rusting out? My Solara's bolt rusted out and I had to remove the alternator together with that threaded cube and replace it with a junkyard one. All I wanted to do was change the belts

Installed front strut brace.... Cheap one from Ebay, cost about $30 + shipping...
Destroyed the plug/bolt on the transmission pan... Damn thing is so damn stuck my nice new 10mm hex bolt just rounded out the centre of it.... It was a proper fit, the damn thing just refused to budge... damn nuisance! So I'm off to pickapart for a replacement pan and plug, as I have a feeling I'm not going to get it out...
The stud/bolt extractor sockets I ordered from the USA finally arrived so I was at last able to remove the broken & stuck bolt from the bonnet that you attach the bonnet lifter gas struts too....
Installed 2nd bonnet gas strut, finally I don't require a metal pole to hold the bonnet up! It's a shame my bonnet was wrecked when someone held it up with a broom in a not so wise spot... (caused it to bend in the middle, so it don't sit flush...) Due to be replaced soonish...

Changed bank 2 coils... [2,4,6]
Last night in the drivethru my interior starts chaking/steering wheel vibrating [in gear, stopped]. Great, seconds later trac off, minutes later flashing CEL. Drove it to work & back [~3 min drive].
Goddamnit. Misfire.
Got to the shop the front cat was glowing red [10 min drive]. Looked around for possible causes, other 1MZ's reported issues like this as well.
I assumed OCV, then read to check the VVT actuator; tested working perfectly fine - therefore OCV can't be the cause... as it is mechanical and relates to that functioning VVT actuator. And throws different codes [iirc p1349/59] when it's a straight misfire its P300,302, etc.
Anyways, all three coils sh&t the bed for whatever reason, 300$ later she runs again

I just bought my 2001 Lexus ES300 a couple weeks ago from a cheap dealership and it needed some work. It's in very good condition overall and I felt after all the work I needed to do to it, it was still a great deal. Over the past week I have:
Changed valve cover gaskets, including PCV valve and grommet
Changed head gaskets and intake plenum gaskets
Replaced faulty knock sensors and harness
Resealed coolant plate below knock sensors (probably the cause of the KS failure) with Toyota FIPG
Replaced cracking wire looms with new ones from auto store to prevent heat damage to wires
Cleaned all grease and grime on engine block and transmission, engine bay is clean
Filled with Toyota Long Life Coolant
Changed oil and transmission fluid and filters
Replaced headlight and fog light bulbs
Changed air filter
Reconditioned leather interior
Things I need to do:
Replace driver side CV axle (boot compromised/grease leaked)
Fix fender wells as they are worn and unsecured
Very minor touchups on paint
Change cabin air filter
I'm waiting on OEM floor mats to come in from eBay. This beauty will be like new once I'm finished. She only has 132,000 miles on her and I plan on keeping her for years.
