Replaced pcv and grommet. Now, no smoke at start up.

edit: Spoke too soon. Will have to do valve seals later.

I just did an oil change and two drain and fill's on the AT on my 2006 ES. On Tuesday, a new windshield will be installed.

Thinking about debadging the back end.

After 14 years and 55 Kmiles:

New OEM valve cover gaskets (rear valve cover leak resolved), new set of Denso spark plugs, new PCV valve and grommet, new rear and dogbone mounts (both were shot) and new serpentine and P/S belts.

All replaced parts were factory original.

^lol, i bet the mounts were shot because the rubber got so aged that they started cracking not because of wear and tear usage.

Yeah, the old rear mount had one big crack in the center. Also the dogbone mount rubber was torn in a few spots. But for my surprise, the front mount, trans mount and engine shock were all good!

Bought a TYC driver side corner lamp - do not like the fitment. It sticks out a little bit over the headlamp and bugs the crap out of me. Will have to suck it up and spend $40 more on a factory new part.

Installed a new fuel pump and a new fuel pump sock. The startup is now a lot smoother/faster. I'm just not sure if it's perfect, because when it's around 30F outside the car still takes a bit longer to start.

While tinkering with the pump, I realized that there is an additional paper filter for the fuel tank. Will order that as well tomorrow. I'm thinking of replacing the Fuel Pressure Regulator since I'm already there, only bummer is that it's an extra $100.

Vacuumed the interior carpet & tried on some new cleaners I was sold at the local Shell gas station.

I also topped off the coolant & windshield wiper fluid reservoirs.

Now, if you got an 00+ front bumper & fogs along with tails - perfect IMO. No need for lips/kits when you have those things.
