I Have My Door Torn Apart
im trying to put this new component set in but its not as easy as it looks.
first of all the tweeter thats already mounted in the side view mirror type thing wont come off.
and once i get it off i cant figure out how im gonna put the rockford fosgate one in and still fit in the lil cover.
the midrange looks pretty easy, just swap out.
BUT.....where do i put the lil cross over that comes with the rockford set and is there any adjusting i have to do to it?
please help me as soon as possible because its three more hours of daylight and my door is already wide open.
thank you.

Hey chill out. There is no need to get angry at anyone. This is a online forum not a book of answers. Maybe the person that could tell you how to do this wasnt on today. So dont just think that when you put up a topic that you'll automatically get a reply that can help you. Sometimes it akes a little while to get your answers. We didnt tear off your door without any knowledge of what to do. So dont come yellin in our ears. If I had any clue where you could mount this crossover I would help but that is one reason why I dont like component sets. no place to mount it.

but lexus IS the maker of the factory components.

sup fog.
if you're going to use the stock amp, don't worry about the crossover, it's already done.
with the tweeters, you know that metal part that's stuck to the stock tweeter? just yank the thing apart and use that to mount the new tweets with double stick.
i know it's pretty ghetto, but it works.
kill the dash speakers if you have them. they suck and no one makes a 3" speaker to replace them.
**tip** the dash and door tweets are run in a series.
i hope i helped
**edit**
my infinity six inch speakers fit. i actually had no problems.

now what i really need help with is understanding if i can access my factory amp from under the passenger seat and run wires from there to my aftermarket amp i want to install...INSTEAD of rewiring directly from the speaker.
im sure i can do it but i dont know what wires to cut and what to keep.
