Default Final coat of wax before winter!!

Well, with winter almost upon us I decided to get a final coat of wax on the car before the cold sets in. The process took me about three hours and included claying the whole car, two coats of wax, and filling up the washer tank with some windshield deicer. After that was complete in vacuumed the whole and interior and applied some quick detailer to the dash and other bits that get a large amount of sun.

Now that she is looking great I thought I would get some shots of her against some of the gorgeous fall colors we have been having. As of now I have owned the car one year and I absolutely love this car. I have put just a shade over 18,000 miles on her so far and she hasn’t missed a beat. All that has been done so far is a new set of spark plugs, a new PCV valve, and I cleaned out the IAC valve.

Anyway, I hope you like the photos and are enjoying your cars as much as I am.
Cory

Nice! I love that color combo... with a black interior it would be perfect.

I won't bother with wax this year though. I would've done it but procrastinated and now its too cold or raining/snowing every other day. If its warm enough this week i'll do a coat before the snow really falls.

Don't forget to "feed" the leather. A good coating of leather conditioner will keep the leather from drying out during winter. Winter after all is the driest time of the year.

Thanks man, the taillight upgrade was the first thing I did to the car when I bought it. As for the IAC valve, I removed the intake hose and shot some thottle body cleaner down the hole. I then manually opened and closed the valve until it moved easily. After that, I then removed the bottom hose off the valve and blew some compressed air through it and a big chuck of carbon fell right out!

Thanks, I'm glad you like them.

Thanks for the tip man! I have been meaning to do this as my seats are in really good shape and I would hate to see them get ruined.

You don't see those wheels often, always liked them as far as stock goes. Nice clean ride...

Thats such a handsome car. Probably the nicest one I have seen on here. Then again, I am a strictly stock kind of person.

Thanks for all the comments guys, I'm glad you like them. As for getting some wheels that was the next item on my list, but with me starting school soon that has been put on hold.
