Default Trunk lid alignment, Body shop or Dealership?

My 2006 ES330 was recently rear-ended. The body shop couldn't align the trunk lid. When the lid is closed, it is slightly higher than the panels. Moreover, now I have to use more force to close it.

I'm not going to waste my time anymore with that body shop. So, my question is, "Is trunk lid alignment a typical job that needs to be done at a dealership or a body shop?"
