1998 ES 300 displaying codes P0171 and P0330?
To anyone who can help, you are greatly appreciated!
I tried simply clearing the codes but both the P0171 and P0330 are coming back immediately. I am in need of fixing these in order to get my inspection sticker as well. Could anyone please help me out with what the cause may be and what kind of cash I'm going to be looking at dropping in order to fix them?
I usually use regular fuel so I'm going to go try using some Shell high test and see if that helps at all once I go on empty, but that's really all I have for guesses here. Once again, any help is appreciated ! Thanks!

you try cleaning MAF sensor lately? I think the P0330 is a knock sensor..Common issue on this year (along with other things).
The gas really does not matter. Use the cheapest you can find.

Just had the P0171 and it was driving me crazy. Changed the MAF and it came back. THen I was told to check for a Vac Leak. Found it, and took care of that, and the car no longer has the P0171. I paid $200 for the MAF from Autozone. It was more like $240 with a $40. Core. I would check for that Vac Leak, before you spend any money. Trust me, I wish I had.

For P0171, check out :
This supports the diagnosis of a vac leak (or other leak). Check out diagnostic technique used in vid.
P0330 sounds like a knock sensor. Fix the leak first and see if you still have P0330.
