Default leaking oil or power steering fluid

I know I have a leak in my rear valve cover gasket and high pressure PS line, but recently, I noticed a lot of fluid on the power steering pump, and all the areas underneath it. So on the driver's side, this would be the area around the frame and oil pan - this area is all very wet. Is this coming from the rear valve cover gasket or might this be a PS line/pump leak? I can't see the rear valve cover that well. There are stains and grime on the cover and edges, but it doesn't appear to be leaking that badly. Was wondering if a leaky valve cover would drop oil down below the power steering pump and all the areas below it. Thanks!

Are you low on steering wheel fluid?

The only way is to shampoo the engine and look for oil leaks after.

Bottom line, if you know your valve cover is leaking, fix it.
There are too many unknowns.

Could be the oil from the valve cover gasket. You can use a mirror to check out the rear valve cover. It's kinda tricky but it can be done. Because you know you have a bad valve cover gasket, I would change that before I did any other repairs. It's really hard to track down an oil leak, doubly so, if there is more than one leak.

You can always use some UV dye in the engine oil to quickly pinpoint the source of the leak

Good idea with the mirror. Let me try that.

I'll also try to clean out the area this weekend to see where the leak is coming from.

The rear valve cover is a big job and I am dreading fixing that.
