death wobble. check your rotors and pads when breaking. if while in motion, its alignment.

yes sounds like there is a lot of air in the lines still.

how did it fix itself? and yes that is normal but dont do it too much or its going to warp the rotors again.

The water from car wash should not affect on your brakes. If water is getting into your vacuum brake system, you have an air leak somewhere....

I'm having a similar problem, not only is my steering wheel shaking at high speed but it feels like the whole car is going to vibrate apart, it shakes very violently... It becomes very noticeable with speeds excess of 40 mph. Also, I had my wheels balanced and aligned about 6 months ago

Any Ideas for what the reason of this issue could be?

Seized caliber? Rotar problem... either way time to hit the shop.

yes of course, the brakes stop your car so it will always get hot after a ride.

could be something in the drivetrain also. driveshaft bushes, something loose in your suspension.

On my 94 it was the round bushing in the lower arm. A little bit of imbalance will make the steering wheel shake badly if the bushings are worn out.
I replaced the bushings and the wobble is gone.
