ES330 2004 NAV with no radio/cd audio
My ES330 2004 with NAV has lost audio from the radio and CD players. It was intermittent for a while, now it's permanent.
The audio level numbers don't come up when I turn the volume control, the balance and fader functions and the equalizer function are at default center position and don't change.
The NAV works (with its audio), the stations tune properly, the CD changer changes CDs, the single player plays singles, everything seems to work except no sound comes out.
I don't think it's the amp (because of the intermittent nature of the problem), but of course I could be wrong.
Any ideas what to check? Is there a "turn on the amp" signal from the dash unit? Some connector that's vibrated loose?
Any suggestions appreciated.

So it appears I have either a shorted amplifier, or a short somewhere in the wiring harness.
I thought the amp got a "turn on" signal from the head end, which makes it somewhat unusual that the fuse should blow immediately...
Next step tomorrow is to unplug the amp, and see if a new fuse blows again. If it does, there's a wiring harness issue, and if not, I guess the amp has a short.
Anyone know of any place that repairs the ML amps?

Sound like your ML amps has a shorted PNP transistor on the power supply section causing it to draw high current that is why your fuse blow. send it to United Radio in Syracuse NY they will fix it for $325 with 1 yr warranty. dealer will charge you $900 for replacement.
