92 Es300 02 Questions
I'm located in Vancouver BC & drive a 92 es300 .
I failed air care 2x but have no CEL or codes that come up. Fixed a vacuum leak & split MAF airhose after first ac test but still failed ac for the 2nd time.
I am now told my cat is bad so I am having that changed out with a new one but I also wanted to install a new after cat oem downstream o2 sensor.
I cant get a straight answer what part # fits this car!
Bosch part # 13353 seems like the correct model but it is for California emissions and is sold at Lordco here in BC. They say its the right part for the '92 but it is rated with California emissions on it selling here in Canada. Can I use this model even though it is rated for California?
I have found online at a good $ the 2 upstream o2 sensors that are verified as the correct sensors under the Denso 234-1053 part # so the upstream is verified as to the correct part.
So any ideas what o2 sensor for the downstream after cat is the right one?

My '93 ES300 doesn't have an o2 sensor in the pipe after the cat. It has the same engine as yours, 3VZFE, 6cyl, right? Yours must be a California model? From what I have read, the correct Denso sensor should be on their website. However, when I went there, they don't list a rear sensor for the '92 ES300. Strange.

thx for info
I am only assuming that i have an after cat o2 sensor since I am told that the es300 has 2 upstream and 1 down but maybe thats for usa cars only?? My mechanic has not verified this info for me as I had dropped him as a mechanic due to lack of skill.
not sure Ill verify again if it does have after cat sensor.
so your es300 only has the 2 upstream?

If there is a sensor on the exhaust pipe, you'll see it easily, looks like the ones in the engine bay and screwed into a threaded bung on the pipe, just past the catalytic converter. It will have a wire leading up into the floorpan under the passenger seat.
