Anyone got double din?
Hi I'm stil deciding on which stero to get, My choices:
a. Buy a dash kit and a single din stereo, for now, maybe later by a dvd player/nav syst.
b. double din radio
I was wondering if maybe all of you es300 lex owners could post a pic of your car stereo and what you think works better?

i'm actually thinking of gettin something like this...

i like the fact that it's a double din, so it'll take much of the space my stock head unit took up and i've asked some people and this unit would be able to be hooked up to a video in source/dvd.

I just picked up a new dash kit off E-bay, the ones where you get the dash kit and the wiring harness from Sound Innovators. This kit has accomadations for 2 seperate DIN size units, or 1 DIN and a pocket; but you couldn't fit one Double DIN size HU.
I'll probably be putting it in today so I'll give a final review at that time, but the kit appears much sturdier and probably a better match than the cheap-a$$ Metra kit I've got right now. The wiring harness is just a generic Toyota 87-up harness, so I'm slightly skeptical on whether that'll work in the ES, but I'm hoping and I'll let you guys know.

I put in a double din Pioneer unit in. I has single cd in the front & I added a changer in the trunk. It also has a cassette player behind the face that has "3" motorized positions. It takes up most of space but nI had to cut a piece of plastic to cover the sides. Looks neat. When I learn how to put pics on I will do it.
can anyone help me with that?
