Please help me decide on the rims!
Hi, I just got my new blue onyx pearl '02 ES300 (please welcome me to the Lexus family ) and have a hard time deciding on which 18" rims to replace with.
So far I've narrowed down to a list of 5 rims that fit my taste.
But to make the final decision I need your recommendations.
I don't plan to spend over $300 on each rim so the looks of my selections may be on the cheap side.
Please help me by voting your favorite one (or ones, it's multiple choice) among the 5 and I'll make my decision based on that.
BTW, anyone knows the maximum width of rims the new ES300 can use?
Let's start with a picture of a Toyota Windom with stock rims (Lexus website doesn't have a picture with enough resolution):

Please forgive my poor shop job as it was quickly done only to give an idea of how certain rims may look on the car.
You can step back from your monitor a bit to make the flaws in these pictures easier to overlook.
I'll post the real pic of my ES300 after I'm done switching the rims.
Thanks again for all your help!

And I found the wheels at this site, which offers a large selection of affordable wheels:

Can you please also put a vote on it so that I will be able to see the overall preference from everybody here?
Yeah, Konig Imagine does look really good on the ES.

This is also a good wheel seller with a cool gallery:

They have some really expensive ones too such as the $1799 (per wheel) AutoCouture Savage if you got money to burn.

Honestly, I don't think you should put any of those on your car. My recommendation would be to save a little more money and get higher quality wheels. I'm not familiar with the first two wheels, Enkei is good quality (not HRE but not Konig either) but I can't see that particular wheel on an ES, which brings us to the last two. Konig is probably the most notorious cheap knockoff company, they are low quality copies of an original design. I don't know much about Rage, but I've seen them on discout tire and wouldn't let them near a Lexus.
If you go over to the wheels forum and ask, someone will be able to tell you the original wheel Konig is copying and about how much they'd cost you. Also, there are alot of very nice JDM 18's that can be had at reasonable prices.
I'm not trying to sound like an a$$ about your choices, but if you are interested in putting wheels on your car, I'd recommend doing some searches and hanging around the wheels forum for a while before you make any decisions. The guys there really know wheels. I came to CL not knowing much about the finer points of wheels, but have learned alot. You don't have to spend $1800 each like the AutoCoutures which are very nice wheels. My wheels only cost about $350 each for 18's, they aren't top of the line, but they're an original design and good quality. There are alot of knockoff companies and I think once you learn more about wheels you'd have a hard time putting any them on your car.

I see. Thanks for the advice, Kyle.
Switching to bad wheels is probably worse than not switching at all indeed.
I'll do some more research on quality wheels before I make my decision.
Mind recommending a good wheels forum to me?
