1996 es300 with 240,000
My car which i have sitting in drive way because it has some issues. i am questioning rebuilding it and overhauling it. Any ideas on rebuild kits or anything. possibly thinking about making like. Really fast lol so if anyone has any ideas or if i even should do. Not sure if i dont someone is offering me like 400$ for it ..... think i would rather keep and remake then sell for that lowball.

my 93 has about 230,xxx on her and i don't plan on selling ever. im not sure your financial status but if you do not need to sell it, and can afford to fix it anytime soon, i would keep it and fix it. as far as faster, there are a couple turbo'd ES on here that would be an option but i recommend overhauling it first. the offer seems low for sure, condition matters a lot but if it runs at all its worth more than that imo.

If you have the funds
Buy a low mileage japanese motor( typically come with 60,000 miles or less and a 30 day warranty) $900 OBO + 250 for shipping or find a good used on locally ( salvage yard , craiglists etc.)
As for fast..You can buy a supercharger kit from Solaraguy or toyotanation
They have a few 4 sale at the moment avg. price is around $2300
That will put u at 276hp(4psi) at the flywheel according to

A basic reliable turbo setup will cost you around the price of the supercharger
if you a do it yourself.
Or You can do a 5speed swap, obx headers and cat back exhaust cold air intake .That would cost around $2000 again if you do the swap your self and all the installs. That will gain you an esimated 30whp
There are many ways to go just depends on you budget. All in all, you need to do a rebuild or drop a better condition motor before you think fast which I'm sure you know.
And where in FL are you?
