Reverse lights wont go on!! help please
Man.. I am a posting fool these days.. My reverse lights on my 96 ES wont go on while in reverse. They will go on if I hold the gear shift forward while in Reverse. Is the sensor just out of adjustment?? Is there a sensor? The orange light on the dash that shows I am in reverse only goes on when I hold the gear lever forward as well.. Let me know if this is something I should worry about.. thanks

This happens on my 1997 ES300 as well. I am able to actually reverse the car, but the light on the dash and the white reverse light on the tail end do not illuminate unless I push the gear shift forward.
