Question Elegant sports package and wood-trimmed console from Japan?

I really like the elegant sports package and the wood kit for the console that are shown on the Japanese Toyota site.

They do have a price tag (163,000 yen for the sports package). The question is if it is possible to order them in the US.
Anyone has an idea? Thanks!

Woo...nice. I'd spring for the body kit and spoiler.

Not sure about the all-wood center console though.

Default I like the wood..

But with my(our) luck they probebly wont fit a 92-96, or they just wouldn't even make one.. That always seem to be the case..

If you only want some extra wood you can always find it at http://www.exoticwooddash.com/lexus.htm .
Still, it'd be cool to be able to order the official ones, particularly the bodykit.
Anyone knows if that is possible?

Default I already have.

The wood kit.. Its not "official" Plus the kit isn't that great.. I mean I'm in Florida at UF, and it gets pretty hot here. I put the kit on and had to deal with the edges peeling up. I wouldnt recommend it to anyone..

Looks like the kit is available in 6 different colors. I'm really interested in it.

Default Found it

LOL...I was stupid enough not to do some research in the first place before I ask the question here.
Here we have a Yahoo! merchant selling this kit (they are in South California).
At $1500, it really isn't too much a price to pay considering the original price of 163000 yens is currently equal to US$1375.
They said it'll cost just about US$100 to ship it to North California (where I live) when I called them.
The lady owner I spoke to was very courteous (hard to understand her Japanese-English though) and told me that they are just about to get their first-ever ES300 kit from Japan within a week and will try it themselves first before they accept my order, just to make sure it'll fit okay.
Go find out yourself if you're interested (they have some other good stuff for ES300 too):

Looks like their sports kit only includes 1-3 on the Toyota price page you posted, which goes for Y105,000 = $886. So $1500 looks to be a pretty sizeable markup, considering they should at least be able to get a 30% discount on the retail price. Still better than what I've been quoted so far though!

And looks like they carry white, black, and silver. I have silver, so I'm covered. Wonder if they'll carry the 3 other colors.

Thanks for the find. How'd you find this place? They're right in my neighborhood.

That looks real nice, honestly the first 2002 ES I've liked. Maybe the new body design will grow on me but I don't care for it. I'm picturing it in black with that kit and some nice 20's, liking what I see.

Not sure if the spoiler's worth it. The one for the Camry SE looks suspiciously similar...might even be the same. I'm sure that one's a lot cheaper.

The difference a little extra plastic on the bottom makes.

You're right, kreativ.
I didn't notice that only 3 of the pieces in the sports package are included in their price of $1500.
It is then quite expensive after the recalculation.
But heck, when a little body kit can change the view of Kyle Harty and the likes on this car, it's probably worth it.
I agree that the spoiler is too similar to the Camry's to justify the premium. I'll check it with a bodyshop.
I found the site via Google with the keywords: lexus es300 "elegant sports package" . In fact, it is the only match in the resulting list.
Apparantly not too many sellers see the demand of a bodykit for the new ES300, yet.

Yes, it can be tough selling a bodykit to a car targeted to 50 year old married men, mommies, and old fogies.

ES usually only gets modded after the car is passed from mom/dad to child. Or if you're lucky like the 15 year old in here who already has an ES, you'd want to mod it now.
