Default Help?

So I am looking into buying a ES300, but the only problem that I'm worried about it is the buyer mention the car is smoking due to a broken click on the injectors which is causing the car to run rich. My question is how much is it gonna cost to fix it or can I even drive like that? Thanks in advance.

I say look elsewhere. Especially in your state, you have lots of choices.

The buyer is letting the car go for cheap, so I was just wondering if it was worth it or not.

Broken Click? is that a tech word?

Running Rich, well will lead to bunch of problems O2 Sensors, worse yet Cat Replacement.

I bet he has a blown head gasket.

Move on Brother, I think he is telling you half truths.

Well, I would try to figure out what the heck is a CLICK. If I read you correctly, he is saying one of the injectors is not connected or the the connector is broken. I would try to temporarily connect the injector and see if the smoke clears ( i bet it doesn't).

If the injector is not working the car should idle horribly too and pull miss fire codes on the CEL. Bring a OBD reader and verify.

My 2 cents. I hate for you to miss a DEAL but if you have to dump 2-3 times more money into it then you bought it....well.

I'm lost on how a broken clip will cause the car to run rich? I would asume it would lean out since its not getting efficient fuel..

Body seems OK but no pic of engine bay, hmmmm.

+1 on injector not being connected = no fuel but still mis-fires.
