Newbie looking for an 05-06 ES....Potential problems?

The reason the fluid gets darker is that it is holding the dirt particles in suspension -- that is what it is intended to do. It depends on the cleaners in the fluid -- having fluid get darker is normal.
The transmission has clutches -- you can not compare it to an engine that has combustion particles - or differentials that can ingest water.
That is why UOA are worthless to compare some fluids -- if I don't put any cleaning agents in the fluid -- its going to look great. Is it.
The clutches are designed to slip - when they slip correctly with the proper fluid -- no problem .......wrong fluid

You can play UOA are worthless but again, for me, I can compare fluids in the same auto's, and T4 is crap at the intervals Toyo provided.. I think they hope most will sell/trade the car before there NOX,OXD,TBN,TAN etc raise to very levels.
When I can compare the same auto at 100K miles with T4 and then 140 with, example, Amsoil, fluid color and smell at 100% different what does that say? And the UOA prove T4 had higher wear, lower CA, etc..
Um, tanny do NOT see combustion particles bud.
