I had talked about this issue earlier where the rear of my car goes over something like a speed bump, it makes a squeaking/creaking noise.

The colder weather has definitely made the sound much more prominent. It was much more of a background noise before, but now it's a lot louder.

Is there an easy way to diagnose and figure out EXACTLY what's squeaking?

If it's something like the trailing arms, it's worth fixing imo, and I can easily do that job myself. If it's the strut mounts, that might be a little pricey and I'll just live with it. The car rides perfect, so it's hard for me to justify the cost of putting all new struts and mounts.

Any ideas on how to know for sure? I hate just throwing parts at it, I've already replaced the sway bar bushings and links.

Spray some silicone lube into the strut mount and drive around to see if the noise is there.

If yes, spray some silicone lube into the lower control arm bushing and drive around to see if the noise is there.

I forgot to leave out an important detail, it's the rear suspension I'm referring to.

My guess would be it's a trailing arm bushing, but I can't isolate it, and don't want to throw parts at it guessing. The lateral links could also be the culprit.

have the same exact problem, push down on the trunk and you should be able to hear it as well, its the link going from the headlight sensor to your toe arm, ill upload a pic. i went to the stealership for a price on the link but they will only sell me the entire sensor with the link for 380 + tax, so for now, until i find one for cheaper i just loosened the bolt and its squicky free.

this worked great one strut mounts. Passenger side was noisy (i dont have any complaints with the struts or the comfort of drive) when the car is cold. Not anymore. It Will probably come back again but it takes 30 seconds to fix.

It is just a temporary fix. The rubber will eventually be hard again and make noise.
But it is a quick fix...

interesting fellows i had the same problem. 1st the dealer said that the lower control arms need to be changed and it was super expensive so he said the exact same thing and the height sensor needed to be lubricated. He removed the whole unit and inspected too to make sure the sensor is ok. But now the noise is no more!!!! But why the sensor needs to be changed tho. the sensor is fine . it seems to me that some gasket or sealer needs to be changed.

ok here is how it looks like ..pretty rusted. i think the sensor is located behind that rust cover but that toe arm wiggles side ways just like if one were to do in for sway bar rods located in front. So i assume you loosened the top bolt??
