Default gas mileage is very poor

I have a 94 es 300 and my gas mileage is very poor! please help!!

It would help if you told us exactly what your MPG is. I have a '95 es and i get 20 city, 26 highway, 22 combined.

ummmm, dont know what my mpg is but i do know that it burns gas very quickly and i only may have went 10 miles...i filled it up and only went abt 30 miles and it went to quarter of a tank...

Check Tire Pressure, How often do you change the oil?, Have you changed the spark plugs?

i just got the oil changed on thursday. i do need an oxygen sensor..could that be the problem? i am a new lexus owner so please excuse my ignorance!

If either of the upstream sensors fail, you will notice a large drop in mileage. What makes you think there is a problem with the sensor?

i GOT IT CHECKED AT AUTOZONE AND A MECHANIC THEY SAID IT WAS A FRONT SENSOR...THE PART IS RATHER EXPENSIVE, IS THERE ANYWHERE TO GET PARTS FOR A REASONABLE PRICE?

I would get the code number and verify that you have the right sensor identified before changing the sensor, but the chances of finding a quality sensor much lower than autozone is slim.

Is there an "easy way" to change the spark plugs in 94 es300 ? Any specific tools ?

Nope, no "easy way". It's not impossible to diy, but it's not easy. All you need is a good set of metric sockets/extensions, screwdrivers etc.
